One of the few that Erwin clearly respects and relies on (like Hange and Levi). Mike quickly got a plan together and executed it flawlessly, which was very fitting for the second-strongest soldier after Levi. We are losing talented officers amid a crisis (Titans spotted roaming inside the walls); logically, this is the start of disaster. I CAN NOT WAIT for the next episode.

I thought he must be super old and predates ODM gear, or that he’s just been off somewhere far far away… but then why’s he coming to human places now?? The Beast Titan absolutely fascinated me lol.

It was mentioned in response it be too expensive but hey, look where we are now! There's a lot of people I wanna become member to to watch unblurred AOT tbh but don't have the money for, so I gotta be picky on my decisions too. Idk how many patreon members there are here already but ohboy, def worth it and I bet there are more people to come!

I worry that I'm too serious at times or too emotional but it's only because I think this show is amazing and I want to do it the justice that it deserves! I didn't watch this for 'hype' or 'because it does well on YouTube' but a general interest in applying my analysis to a new media form outside of literature. So I went in with 0 expectations and just a genuine desire to learn and know more!

Also, I have kinda same-ish issue with recognizing voices of different people, even though my hearing is as good as anyone's on both ears. For me it is more of a psychological stuff, I guess. Same thing with faces, when watching live-action movies I tend to confuse characters with one another, or just think that the character who changed hairstyle/clothing is a different one, haha (help me I'm retarded) Just sharing so you wouldn't feel so alone in this. Anyways, so excited for the rest of the season and the show! Thanks for yet another motivator for me to wake my ass up in the morning. xD

2024-12-10 21:37:30 +0000 UTCOk, that explains some of the discussions at earlier episodes here. I thought that it was very obvious that narrator's voice was the same as Armin's. I have a good hearing when it comes to picking up nuances in the sounds, but I heavily struggle to hear other people speak or focus on single voice in noisy environments, and basically can't have any conversations in those situations.

2024-12-10 21:23:10 +0000 UTCYour level of disbelief at the end of the episode was only appropriate lol There's usually a lot of debate in the AOT reaction community as to whether to watch this episode or Ilse's notebook first as a new viewer. I prefer Ilse's notebook even though it lets you know Titans can speak before this episode so it's "less of a shock" but I don't think there's any way to not be adequately shocked by the events of this episode :D

Helping her when there's a disability like this is fine, but I think she also have some advantages compared to others, so there's no need to confirm, deny or otherwise help her with her theories outside of the scope of that disability.

That's like... the only safe insight to add right now LOL. Oh, and that you can trust the wording and phrasing of the subtitles throughout the entire show. The dialogue is calculated.
