Updated Schedule

I've had to shift things around and I thought it would be best to section by content to make it easier to read!

I also realised I've been dropping content early. Oopsies :')

But thank you all so much for the love and support on Patreon. It is motivating me to work my arse off so I can continue to do this full time but I couldn't do this without all of you so thank you all so so much! ❤️

Attack on Titan

Frieren

Every Tuesday and Wednesday:

Death Note

This one is a bit hit and miss as I film when I can but I'll try to stick to a schedule

Thank you so much Krul!!

Sophie Anders

Congrats on hitting 5k! ✨🎉\(^O^)/🎉✨

Yes, in S2Ep1 the impact could be greater if you watched it first, and not have any knowledge of it being possible for titans to speak. And there's something else that comes up, where it would be better if you had Ilse's notebook freshly in mind. But that's less of an issue with just one episode difference.

Hezer

I can see where Peregrine is coming from because of the reveal of the Titan speaking in both Ep 1 and Ilse's Notebook. So you're going into Ep 1 with that knowledge though of course you aren't expecting it to happen again. Plus a lot of react channels have taken it upon themselves to watch it in that order so it's become the kind of expected order. Peregrine was just looking out for me and wanting to make sure I get the full experience :) Thankfully I was still dumbfounded by S2 Ep 1 haha!

Sophie Anders

I've rewatched the s2:e01 just to make sure, and still I really don't get what you're saying here. Ilse's Notebook doesn't spoil anything from the first episode of season 2, and it doesn't cross my mind why would anyone watch it in the order that you suggested. I mean, it wouldn't hurt, I guess, but still pointless. If you want to explain in the answer, please keep it spoiler-free for dr. Sophie, or else just don't answer.

screeptoneet

Really looking forward to your reaction to Ilse's notebook. I really like that OVA, specially because Hange is my favorite character but also because of the way it ties in with later episodes in S2. You'll see soon that is definitely more connected to S2 than S1.

Krul

If you're already done with Ilse & eps 1 & 2 slotting No Regrets in before ep 3 works well :D looking forward to it!!

Sofomo

Ah okay so what I might do is still go with Ilse's Notebook first because I refer to it in S2 Ep 1 so would be weird to switch the order. Then film No Regrets and add that after S2 Ep 2 as 1 video and then Ep 3 onwards!

Sophie Anders

Imagine wandering a game map and going to the next town. A couple villagers allude to something you don't quite get, but it doesn't interfere with the story or quest (yet), so you go on your merry way to finish the town none the wiser. Then you exit the town, immediately find the sidequest you missed that explains what they'd alluded to, and you're like OH that's what that was. That sidequest is No Regrets for S2 LOL.

Sofomo

I am filming next week so I might do Not Regrets and intersect that in after Ep 2! Re-shuffle things around and all!

Sophie Anders

No Regrets provides a little bit of context for S2 here and there, but nothing so substantial that you can't watch it where you have it!

Sofomo

Well I've still time to add No Regrets but I don't think it should matter too much!

Sophie Anders

You're probably going to encounter some folks with concerns over your AOT OVA watch order, but this is perfectly fine and you have everything you need under your belt going into S3 (which is most important haha). I'm excited for you!! Oh no it's Weds... no more Frieren until next week

Sofomo

Oh you mean in terms of posting? I watched Ilse's Notebook and I felt it was more connected to S1 more so than S2 so I don't think it's really an issue in terms of posting it before S2. But I'm open to others commenting what they think Thank you for opening the discussion just in case I am wrong haha!

Sophie Anders

Regarding Attack on Titan... many reactors do S2:E1, then Ilse's Notebook, then carry on with S2. This is due to certain knowledge from S2:E1 being more impactful without having seen Ilse's Notebook yet. Thoughts?
