2024-12-04 07:59:23 +0000 UTCI saw the demon girl's actions in that scene as similar to how a predatory sociopath might behave, operating outside the framework of human morality. Her actions didn’t seem driven by repentance but by self-preservation, as she admitted feeling the woman’s constant desire to kill her. Like a sociopath, she seems to lack empathy, remorse, and a sense of morality, as well as the ability to truly grasp human emotions. I think this lack of understanding is what led her to view replacing the daughter she ate as a fair and logical solution. Also that flex at the end of the episode: "Stronger than me?" "I'm stronger than the boss of your boss"

I liked how your reaction as the story went on played RIGHT into the hands of the narrative (exactly how it wanted you to). A childish figure for a demon brings out the "but maybe there is hope" because they're still young and learning and potential.... and nope. Nope. The audience learns the hard way like Himmel had to that demons are just like... well a murderous chatbot LOL
