Yeah that’s what I mean by collateral damage. However, the escaped horses that ran off on their own likely wouldn’t get eaten.

I did a poll on YouTube and I think a lot of people just completely misunderstood me as saying "I'm not going to do any analysis until the end of the season" whereas what I meant was I was going to stick with the more raw discussion and then at the end of the season thread it altogether for a deeper look. People were instantly like "DOING A DISCUSSION AT THE END OF THE SEASON ISN'T ENOUGH!" but they're behaving as if I don't do a discussion EVERY EPISODE whether it's a scripted one or not? I like doing the deep dives but they are VERY time consuming to do and even then, because I don't have the full picture and doing it based on the episode, I'm missing parts of the discussion (which I expect will happen anyway but still).

There are episodes like this that is just the Female Titan stomping on people that we don't really know, so there is not much to say about it. I would be more interested in hearing your theories once the "Female Titan arc" is over so that you have enough information and time to collect your thoughts. This is what I meant when I said that episodes are short but arcs are long in this show. It doesn't make sense to make a literary analysis of a 20min long action-packed episode, but every arc definitely moves the plot forward, reveals new information and once it is all over we would definitely want to hear from you. I feel like you may be worried that people is expecting a deep dive like the ones you did for episodes 13 and 14 every single time, but that is not reasonable. So far you have been doing great and you are giving us way more than the average reactor. So just find a system for your outros that you feel comfortable with and we will be here for you whenever you have a longer outro ready.

2024-11-18 02:32:52 +0000 UTCThe titan animations are hilarious, such weird comic relief at a gruesome situation, but every time it gets me to laugh a little. And the female titan using people like toys, shows how huge power gap there actually is between titans and humans.

2024-11-17 21:49:25 +0000 UTC"I will be in the same clothes for the next episode" <- I've heard this on so may AOT reactions XD There is something criminal about the way this series uses cliffhangers. Another one of my favorite sequences in AOT is in this episode. When the Levi Squad knows that the female titan is in the woods with them and time slows and we hear what sounds like childlike chanting almost like kids playing a game and then time just snaps back into motion when the female titan slaps a soldier out of the air like a fly. I also really loved how it makes a swipe at Eren -through a tree- and then you can feel the mass of the tree by how long it takes to accelerate into falling and the female titan has to build up speed again at the same time. It's just such good visual storytelling and really sells how massive the scale of what's chasing them is. "I want to know!" <- All of us all the time in this series about something :D
