What To Expect On Patreon & When

OKAY

So I think it's wise to step back with Death Note for the time being. I am definitely taking on too much trying to edit 3 series. 2 for YouTube and Patreon and 1 just for Patreon. I've bitten off more than I can chew for sure which is such a shame as I've been really enjoying Death Note.

However, it means I can be more consistent with my analysis on AOT and give it the justice it deserves without feeling like I'm strapped for time.

YouTube will be going to 4 days with AOT so that does put me a little behind with Patreon Early Access especially as I have to edit my outros for Ep 14 and 16 as I wasn't too happy with them. Plus preparing for 2 interviews so please bare with me as I catch up as quick as I can!

Aiming to have Frieren up to 1 x 4 this week and for AOT to be up to 1 x 19.

The plan as follows for the rest of November and part of December. My aim is to give you early access to all content a WEEK before YouTube so videos may be staggered rather than uploaded in bulk (I hope that's okay?!):

Saturday 16th November - AOT 17 & 19 + Frieren Ep 3 & 4

****

Monday 18th November - Frieren Ep 5 & 6 + AOT 1 x 20

Wednesday 20th November - Frieren Ep 7 & 8 + AOT 1 x 21

Friday 22nd November - AOT 1 x 22

Sunday 24th November - AOT 1 x 23

****

Monday 25th November - Frieren Ep 9 & 10 + AOT 1 x 24

Wednesday 27th November - Frieren Ep 11 & 12 + AOT 1 x 25

Friday 29th November - AOT 2 x 1

Sunday 1st December - AOT 2 x 2

****

Patreon and how it works is still really new to me so I'm open to taking feedback. It very much is a fine balance but I also want to show how much I appreciate you all for choosing to support my content this way.

So I'm trying to make sure that there's enough early access content going live without throwing everything up at once and finding myself confused on where I'm at ❤️

It definitely won't be every episode a lengthy analysis but I will always do an outro discussing the show and what happened unless it was just a lengthy fight scene and not much else. Primarily because there's a dime a dozen reactors that just go "good episode" and move on without engaging with what they are watching. I really don't want to be that type of person. I want my content to be unique and to stand out! :)

the early speculation is kinda fun but its hard to comment on without spoiling anything it's definitely worth analysing things early but doesn't have to be every episode

HAL

I will do!

When you come back to deathnote, continue in English

Reginald

I shall gladly accept the warm cup of tea!! Thank you!!

Sophie Anders

It makes perfect sense. Whenever you find something you would like to share with us we would love to hear it, but don't feel like you need to say something every episode just because. P.S. Sorry to hear you got sick. Here you have a nice warm tea cup so that you get better soon: \̅_̅/̷̚ʾ

Aw thank you lovely for worrying about me! I'm doing my best to take some time to rest due to illness. Not every outro will be this detailed. Probably only ones where something significant happens or I spot a running theme that I want to discuss. I'm sure I'll probably end up repeating myself in outros but I expect that to happen. I do intend to record a new outro for 14 as there was more I wanted to say in relation to the wallists. Also re-doing 16 because I forgot to talk about Jean and his character development. But I'm trying to keep them very episode specific unless it's like a BIG CORE THEME that I believe is developing overall. If that makes sense at all?

Sophie Anders

I think it is a good idea that you are scaling back a little bit, we were worried you may burn out at the rate you were going and we would like to have you for the long run! By the way, regarding your AOT literally analysis outros (which I have loved so far), maybe is a good idea that you first watch a batch of episodes and then you record the corresponding outros? The episodes are quite short, but the arcs are long, so watching a few episodes in advance before recording the outros may give you a better idea of where the plot is going.

Krul

For sure it looks like a lot but it's usually quite manageable. I'm just a bit behind as I've been unwell so haven't really filmed anything so kind of need to get my butt in gear!!

Sophie Anders

Glad that you're getting a more manageable plan together. And thank you for letting us know your plans. It's a new thing to manage, so you'll have to learn and understand your limits, and where you want to be. For a solo content creator, I feel like that's still a lot you're planning to release (in addition to preparing for interviews and having any other things), but if you feel comfortable with it, that's fine. I'm excited about each of your videos, be it every day or biweekly.

Thank you so much Sydney. It's all a learning curve. I have to keep reminding myself that I only started this channel a month ago!! So I really shouldn't be exhausting myself to this extent but enjoying the ride and having fun with you all on this journey 💜 💜

Sophie Anders
