In general there is so much stuff happening in the background during the Trost arc that only becomes relevant much later. Can't wait for you to get further into the show so that we can finally reveal all the little details that the author has been sprinkling throughout these episodes. I like your theories about Eren and would like to know what you think of him as the story unfolds. As you mentioned, even with all its craziness, the show so far has been quite simple from a narrative point of view, but that is because you have only scratched the surface of the story. Really excited for you to get to the later seasons when stuff gets way more complicated.

I was like that when I fought The Hollow Knight at the end of Hollow Knight - the music had me BAWLING!

They perform some of the songs live with a full orchestra on his YouTube channels. I don't know if those videos have spoilers, though (I'd imagine yes, tbh), but once you're done, you should totally check them out.

2024-11-03 22:02:29 +0000 UTCSo the scene where Jean gets rescued originally aired unfinished due to time constraints (anime production is a whole nightmarish world), but it was later fixed. It isn't really all that different, though. The only thing added is that when that titan is diving at Jean, Annie comes into the picture and uses her momentum to divert the titan's trajectory, preventing Jean from becoming lunch. That's why that weird, sudden cut was there at that point.
