Physics Mod Pro V122 - Cloth Rework Part 1
Added 2023-02-13 13:20:18 +0000 UTCThe first part of the cloth rework is here! This brings some huge changes under the hood and you are now able to customize individual body parts for cloth. I've only added the physics hat so far but expect much more to come (hair, coats, glasses, ...). Why is this update only for Fabric 1.19.3 you may ask. Because it allows me to get the cloth rework done more quickly however when it is done I will port it to 1.19.2, 1.18.2 and the Forge versions too! So what can you expect from the future cloth rework parts? Customizing mobs with cloth, replacing armor pieces with certain cloth (for example elytra replaced by dragon wings, leather armor replaced by cloth, ...), synchronized cloth pieces between players (only those equipped on your own player) and even replacing entire mobs with the cloth simulation (jiggly slimes, jiggly tentacles of ghasts and more)!

Iris Compatibility: Minecraft 1.16.5/1.17.1 requires Iris 1.4.2 or lower.
IMPORTANT Ocean Physics Information: Only use a maximum of 12 chunk render distance. Anything higher could result in big lag spikes.

Smoke Physics Information: Minecraft particles have to be enabled for it to work! The further away you are from smoke sources the less particles spawn. Temporal Anti-Aliasing (or TAA) can cause issues with the smoke so disabling it will eliminate some visual artifacts. Not all shaders are supported (best results that I've got are with BSL shaders).
Snow Physics Information: Optifine is not supported (use Iris + Sodium on Fabric/Oculus + Rubidium on Forge). High render distances on slow CPUs might result in delayed snow tracks.
