I'm going to give it another shot, but I remember my original feelings were very similar to yours. Not sure how many episodes I ever watched but I lost interest really fast.

2024-10-08 04:46:03 +0000 UTCYeah... should've gone with Trigun. I tried to give this another chance, but by God, is it such a jumbled mess. I still don't understand why everyone seems to think THIS is the best thing right next to Cowboy Bebop. It doesn't even come close. Just because some of the people who worked on that worked on this doesn't instantly make it amazing. The storytelling is all over the place, the characters are lackluster, with what's-his-face being just a failed copy of Spike but far less cool or interesting.
