Yeah I totally thought when we saw his shikai that it was his bankai π€¦ but yeah that whole scene was AMAZING I'm glad Shinji got some additional shine!

2023-07-24 00:29:50 +0000 UTCShinjis shikai is to make everything reversed, like what he did with Bambi ( he also used it against aizen) His Bankai was never shown until now not in the manga and not in the anime, it was only adressed in the light novels. His bankai is reallly broken he can just make people see their friends as enemies and the other way, thats the reason why he never used it, because it also effects his allies so they would kill each other. Great reaction tho, love the Shinji theme, his theme was also one of the best in the old anime
