VR360 "Soapy Water" with Lauren Ashlyn

Hey everyone,

This one was almost a b-side, but there were a few moments in the clip that I thought were pretty cool, so I wanted to give it the full sound treatment. As you might have guessed, my new hard drive came. I had to spend a little bit of time re-linking clips to the proper space, but everything seems to be in good working order now.

I am going to post a bit of an update in a few days, but I wanted to get this one out first! When soliciting non-dialogue ideas last time, someone suggested using non-verbal communication, so this clip was the first try at having Lauren imply some directions.

How did you get here? How long have you been here? These questions remain unanswered. However, this clip begins with Lauren Ashlyn placing you on her bathroom floor, leaving you with some water and a toothbrush to clean the floor. Returning to check on your progress, you are once again lifted into the air and placed firmly on the floor in her bedroom, where it is implied you will be cleaning her shoes. In the end, she returns and is not pleased with your performance, swiftly stepping on you.

Shot in 60fps slow motion. No dialogue. Some minor splitting.

Happy to hear that you liked this! I am definitely a big fan of impossible tasks as well. The point you bring up about being afraid of what she might say is super interesting, and I'll have to keep that in mind moving forward, because it's a unique dynamic. Because I think you're right, there is a reason why she is not speaking to you, and a lot of it has to do with size. Your ideas for exploring nonverbal communication are also neat, so I will have to suggest them when we brainstorm next :)

Okay so, i almost always do prefer dialogue if possible but. Holy shit, this is great. First the idea of just having this impossible task and being expected to do it is great, and the communication she does is amazing, the way she drops the toothbrush is masterful. I think not having dialogue, but having direct interaction and communication is a really unique thing, and she does it SO well Due to it being nonverbal it’s almost like you’re in constant fear of her speaking, hell even using her vocal chords, that part where the door is closed but you hear her speak for just a brief second is great, it really helps that feeling that any use of her vocal chords is something to fear, I don’t know how intentional that feeling is but, it’s definitely there and it’s great, feels like there’s a REASON she’s not speaking to you directly, and it’s out of generosity I really hope you consider exploring the nonverbal communication with her more in the future, maybe she could let out a really loud laugh as a form of punishment? Maybe she could use flash cards with commands for the tiny or insults or something? Just some ideas, really hope you keep exploring this, loved this one
