Hi friends,
Based on the feedback I received from most people via comments and messages, it seems like you were most interested in seeing a live action video before seeing the VR stuff, so I quickly changed back gears! Right now, this first video with Lauren Ashlyn is clocking in around 9 minutes (and potentially more). The biggest challenge I am having with this video is producing movement and flow. For future shoots, I think I have solved some of these issues (it turns out, the camcorder I own is quite adept at auto-focusing the tiny figures, and with the right lighting, doesn't look terrible close-up).
I am still working on trying to tighten up the main edit (although the rough cut is complete) and find the right music to convey Lauren's attitude along with what the scenario calls for. The good news is, I finally found a color palette I like for this video! This was something I had been struggling with for a bit, because the video transitions from cooler outdoor colors, to warmer indoor ones, and I didn't want the video to move back and forth between such different color schemes. I've attached before and after pictures below! Some edits are more noticeable than others, but you'll get the idea!
With love always.
