Shi De's cousin, Pei Shou Yi (the doctor), was shown to have met him in the past and there's some history between them. He was only in it briefly, but he has more of a prominent role in this series.

There are a few things as to why they havent spoken in 5yrs. and when Zhou Shuyi went to visit abroad and saw Gao Shi De with a lady and baby. He visited without Gao knowing he went there...But im not gonna mention anything else...dont want to spoil it for you.

Me personally I was so die hard yiβs side bc no way radio silence for 5 years and u think we can just be what it was in the past no explanationβ¦ crazy.
