I think they translated In a way they thought that an English speaker who isn’t familiar with Korean popular culture would understand. She called the dog “Dobangshingi” which is TVXQ’s name in Korean but they translated it as *NSYNC which they thought would the American equivalent 😂 they did the same thing when she said her grandfather name is “Won Bin” they said Tome Cruise lmao, Won Bin is a very famous, handsome actor from the 90’s and earlier 2000s.

When I first caught that I thought it was a cute little detail

2023-11-23 22:27:00 +0000 UTCThe last scene ("6 months ago") shows how Young-woo got the job. Also, the subtitle did not translate this but the CEO of the firm refers Young-woo's dad, "선배 (seonbae)." It can be speculated that they probably went to school together - probably law school.
