Yes, as Mary mentioned, the rules can come from multiple places. The Korean music shows (and perhaps networks, in general?) forbid men from showing both nipples - that's why you'll see some idols get creative with being partially covered during performances. If you break this rule, you would be fined. In an old interview, I believe the BTS members mentioned that there was a "no fully shirtless" rule written into their original contract with Big Hit. There were very rare exceptions to this, but obviously - this rule was probably removed leading to what we have now in Chapter 2. :) Each company probably has different rules/restrictions on this.

2023-09-19 23:46:06 +0000 UTCWhen you purge the clams, you soak them in the salt water and it draws out all the sand/gunk from them so you don't have that in your mouth when you eat them. Maybe I've never had properly cooked clams and mussels, but I never liked them the few times I've eaten them.

2023-09-19 19:01:27 +0000 UTCI think the shirt/shirtless thing is probably a little of both. We very rarely saw BTS members shirtless until recently. I think it is partly the kpop companies safeguarding their images, and the Korean media/tv standards for showing skin. Hence, we used to completely freak if we saw ANY skin at all. They also really protect against sun damage. Then there are times when I've thought it was the artist's preference themselves. For instance, I think a lot of us thought there was a time when JK purposefully kept his tatts covered and his skin covered because HE wanted it that way....that he wasn't comfortable or ready for the fallout if he showed that. In recent years, I think the standards set by the industry and govt have relaxed somewhat. And, I agree - paintball hurts a lot! My hubby and son both used to play a bunch, and wow, the bruises they came home with!
