What is your opinion of the sequel trilogy? I heard a lot of people suggest that I skip those, some people have said they were very disappointed with them. I have heard a lot of recommendations that I instead dive into some of the shows you mentioned instead.

2025-06-27 02:17:41 +0000 UTCYou mentioned are there other Star Wars projects and the answer is yes: There's the sequel trilogy (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker), 2 spin-off movies Rogue One and Solo: A Star Wars Story (both take place shortly before the original trilogy). These are just the movies, NOW there's also some important TV shows like: Star Wars: The Clone Wars (an animated series that takes place between Episode 2 and 3 and follow more adventures of characters you're familiar with and deepens the lore more, and this one ran for 7 seasons), then there's another animated series (I hope this doesn't turn you off but trust these 2 are particularly great shows) called Star Wars Rebels which is also expands more on the Star Wars universe, then there's live action shows like The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, Ahsoka, The Acolyte and Skeleton Crew
