Ohh wow. Yea - knowing that was their intention, totally agree that they failed, ha. Always so interesting to learn more context from the books and how the original story is similar or different from what we see on screen!

In the books, Cersei is reluctant because she doesn't wanna get caught but quickly consents. The show runners/director have said that it wasn't their intention to come across as assault, but they clearly failed lol. They probably wanted some shock factor 😒 Anyways it's probably the only scene in the show that I kinda omit as canon in my head 😅
