Next up I got also news regarding the development. I started Lost Heir 2 on RPG Maker MV and was now forced to migrate the game to the newer RPG Maker MZ version.
The reason is that MV for no apparent suddenly keeps crashing right after startup.
It worked fine like a couple days ago and suddenly it just crashes instantly if I tried to start it. I contacted support, forums etc. but couldn't resolve the issue.
However. With a little guide I managed to migrate the entire game to the newer MZ version and from my playtesting so far everything seems to be working fine.
Not just that. That f*cking graphics bug that was haunting me isn't there anymore. It just doesn't happen on MZ. So thank f***ing god for that.
Anyway. I've continued with the monster breeder side quest and finished writing the initial dialogue, so next up we can get to rendering some monster banging images. ;)
