Corondor - My Game World Map

This is the main island map from my current D&D 5e game. It is run using shared DM/GM's who switch every adventure. and thus placed here as will help you understand where and why I have drawn my game maps

The map outline and original idea of a rift is based upon a map Dominaria by "Magic: The Gathering", this was due to covid 19 and having to rush to go online. But that's where it ends , as place names, terrain, and world law etc. are added as part of our game world.

The Isle of Corondor (a draft history)

Long ago the land was split into many ruling warlords

Then came Dolf Blackblade and it was him who unified the land under one ruler, by rallying the common people and befriending a dragon Piru.

To celebrate he built a new city of Haran in the middle of the continent. and we moved into the age of peace and prosperity for 20 years.

When he died the kingdom passed to his son Nerku Blackblade, a not so wise ruler who lived the good life and fathered many a child (one legitimate and many not) until one day lured by a witch hell bent on taking the thrown, bore him a bastard son Dakkon, with her plot exposed and the annoyed the King Nerku Blackblade, He burnt the witch to hide his mistake, but she hid her child, bound on a ship to other lands and cursed the kings one and only legitimate heir. This destroyed the queen and no more hier where born, and no more was know of the legitimate heir

Dakkon Blackblade the bastard son of a king came back from his travels, with hopes of taking the thrown after the death of his father but the Elder Dragon Piru. protected his master's family tomb (mainly his old friend Dolf Blackblade) and a great battle ensured destroying the city and forming the rift, some legends say Blackblade slew the Elder Dragon Piru, some say the dragon lived on traped under ground, and some say the battle still goes on.
