Something That’s Been Weighing on Me: A Message I Need to Share

I want to talk about something that's really been on my mind lately. In the past few weeks, I’ve noticed that all of my images from Patreon are appearing almost instantly on other sites. To be honest, this has left me feeling quite hurt. 😔
I understand that it might be well-intentioned, trying to make the content available to those who can’t afford to support me on Patreon. I know all too well what it’s like when money is tight. There were times in my life when I could barely make ends meet. That’s why I want to sincerely thank everyone who supports me here on Patreon – your support means more to me than I can put into words. ❤️
However, it’s not easy for me to deal with this situation. I suspect that two people from my community are responsible. I can pinpoint when the image ripping began, and while I’m not angry, it does make me sad. It’s tough to see all my work being shared immediately without any control.
I want to clarify that I don’t have an issue with my content being shared later on. But almost in real-time – that just doesn’t feel right and seems unfair to me.
I could make the public images on Patreon private and only send the links via DM or email. But that’s not what I want. I’m looking for a fair solution for everyone. I regularly upload parts of my images for free on Twitter, so those who can’t support me financially can still see some of my work. For those who want more content, Patreon is an option to support me. This has always seemed fair to me, and I would like to keep it that way. 👍
To the person copying my content, please feel free to reach out to me via DM. I’m not angry or resentful, but I would like to see if we can find a compromise. However, if I’m forced to use the DM and email solution, the free uploads on Twitter would have to stop, as I would need to spend more time writing DMs. Given that there’s a certain "follower count" on the site (currently 231 followers) viewing my work, I would then only upload one image from the current uploads directly to Patreon, so people there can at least see if the quality of my work is worth supporting.
I’m feeling quite lost and overwhelmed in this situation and hope we can find a solution together that’s respectful and fair for everyone involved.
