Personal tastes are more on the japanese or japanese adjacent animation style (MG Celesphonia, SK Aura, rpg maker style games). But the biggest challenge for me is FINDING good games. Even when trying to intelligently use filters / reddit searches, there's a lot of slop to wade through, and sometimes games that don't seem up my alley initially for whatever reason, ...turn out to be on my personal GOAT list...! Recommendations are invaluable. Even if the next fest is over, I'm keen to hear what ppl found they had a good time with. At the very least I can help the devs and fatten up my Following/Wishlist lists.
