This sounds more and more like subjective picks as opposed to data driven "most popular female protagonist games".

2025-01-15 15:07:55 +0000 UTCI think that female-protagonist games can be considered a separate genre because it is entirely different stories and flavours. If we consider games like "Having a Hard Time" or "Queen's Brothel", they aren't really corrupt games, and if you were to put a male protagonist as the main character, it would completely change the game and flavour. Regarding the Daz models, I believe they are repeatable because most of the visual novels do not want to use a new generation of models Genesis 9, and with that, only old (Genesis 8 and older) models are used. That also creates a lot of low-quality games based on renpy, which stop being developed after a few chapters. So, I think such games would need to migrate into a combination of VN & RPG to keep up with other games.

2025-01-14 15:03:30 +0000 UTCI like female protagonist games because I find it harder to identify with male protagonists in any game, not just adult ones. Not really into the corruption flavor though.
