I've paid no attention to this issue for a while and wonder if these new e-commerce platforms do anything differently, or if they are somehow chained to the same stupid rules.

2024-10-07 12:31:22 +0000 UTCI got my Discover card around 1990. Loved the cash back until they wouldn't allow their card to be used on what they decided were porn sites, so I canceled my card. I just checked PornHub and Discover is there now! Wow! I wonder when that happened? I'm going to guess: Ebay/Amazon, which made it hard for them to cover transaction-by-transaction when somebody might buy something naughty. I made $500 in cash-back on my Visa last month, feel free to do the math on how much Discover missed out on because they didn't want me buying lube online in the 90s.
