If I were a betting man, they will probably be channeling the profits from their previous game into this one. Unreal 5 seems to be helping some developers who have mastered the toolset, to get a great looking game off the ground quickly (relatively), if we take Wukong as an example. I would personally advise against that expectation, but I would still expect a similar timeline to their previous game for development. The wild card there will be the artists. Wukong hired a ton of artists after everything was built, and then spent those six months plugging in the new assets while the army of artists they hired worked on the games art. I'm not sure that is a model that can be followed for very many other games, and is a novel enough approach to have made several (game) news outlets. Here is hoping they have some tricks up their sleeves, and I wish them the best. I'm looking forward to it whenever it does come out.
