April Patron Update

Today we're going to talk about censorship and debanking as we ride the Shinkansen to Tokyo.

Because the financial industry has a history of working with really bad people. They got caught and the settlement included no longer aiding human trafficking. As opposed to actually stopping, they decided to focus on porn and call it human trafficking. I made a video touching on this with Onlyfans.

Annie

Why is the financial industry so concerned about the transactions that take place, as long as those are within the realm of the law? Isn't their purpose to wring the most profit out of a dollar as possible? Sarcasm aside, is a name change possible, like rebranding your youtube channel to just SPG? Intermixing your current content might help, I don't know. My best wishes for you figuring these things out.

And thats my point Annie, its all in the wording, anime has so many flavours many of which would be deemed illegal i,m sure, its just the way of describing and marketing that bypasses the rediculously PC world we live in, hence i escape into alternate realities to avoid it, ( if you feel more at home in another reality than your own, surely that is your reality) lol Kirito taught me that

I am afraid that YouTube is going to "train" me to avoid even more flavors. "Welcome to Annie's Harem Hoedown! I hope you only like one flavor, because that's all that YouTube allows!"

Annie

I can even cover adult "anime style" games as long as I avoid talking about flavors. It just seems so sterilized to do that.

Annie

Slice of life video novels is the answer, works for anime content creators, beside which it is a far more accurate description of many of the latest ones i read anyway, kinda incomprehensible the way you tube pick n choose, what is acceptable

When I went to high school, I saw 1 federally approved sex ed movie in my first year, but that was before puberty hit me so it didn't make mean anything to me (the part of the brain that makes sexiness a thing hadn't developed yet). This was in the before-times before the internet, so by the time I started feeling horny, all I knew from the adults I was aspiring to become around me was that they all pretended sex wasn't a thing. So despite being a very nice high school, it was quite a sex negative experience -- which sounds like what Google is trying to do here. In other words, please keep up the good fight! PS I also suppose you can develop your own filter friendly keywords and then link to a public patreon page listing the definitions?

Robert

I'm not sure why I'm being held to this new standard. If it was the name, then I would expect every video to be demonetized.

Annie

No Shaming, Just Eating!

Annie

They are demonetizing videos for containing DAZ models? Considering the literally thousands of videos containing scantily clad AI generated women, you would think they wouldn't be so discriminating. Consider changing the name of the channel? I have had at least 3 channels I subscribe to do that recently. If "Sex" is the problematic word, replace it with "Indie"? I don't know. Might take some of the pressure off.

I'm not sure how much of the foods you experienced ;) Hortons and KFC doesn't count :D

Droid Productions

If you could tell that to my bank, that would be great. I'm pretty sure they think that I am trafficking catgirls or something.

Annie

Huh. When I hear "sex positive", I think the opposite of Tate. That's why I signed up to begin with. I did originally think SPG would be about games with sex positive stories, but I quickly learned that the "sex positive" in SPG is about open discussion of sex in games and the kinks/flavors surrounding it. You cover both Tate-ian and non-Tate-ian games alike, and that's totally fine. That said, I would really appreciate if you mentioned whether a game is Tate-ian/dub-con/non-con in your reviews. Nothing turns me off faster than those things.
