I think a lot of developers have to dance around this subject because of the changing rules.

2023-04-17 15:01:25 +0000 UTCDepraved Awakenings has an interesting take on this, as it's the (male) protagonist that's the victim of the corruption/ mind c*ntrol. This means that the player is the one being given express "permission" in the narrative to explore an otherwise taboo relationship between him and his step-daughter, treat other people cruelly, and yet still be the good guy hero at the end. I'm sure there's other games and stories that do this, but can't think of any off the top of my head. I think Treasures of Nadia kinda does something similar, but it's accidental and not targeted??
