2023-03-03 08:48:39 +0000 UTCI have not played the game so I do not know for sure, but I am hearing lots of reports from players that the volume and quality of content just suddenly drops at around the 5 hour mark. Also they have announced there is no DLC. Knowing how long it takes to make a AAA game like Hogwarts Legacy, I get the distinct feeling that the timeline went something like this: WB: We want to make a Hogwarts RPG. Devs: That sounds awesome and we will make tons of money! A couple of years into development... JKR: I'm a sexist transphobe Devs: I don't want to work on this game anymore. WB: But the five hours of content you made so far is really good! Devs: Yeah, we don't care. WB: You are under contract! Devs: Fine we'll finish it, but our hearts aren't in it anymore. WB: Will you finish the Quiddich part too? Devs: Nope.

I also understand why a game company wanted to steer away from sexualizing teenagers, they already had enough controversy to deal with. It's made with the Epic engine, so it shouldn't be too terrible to mod. It's still Unreal Engine 4, so no uncharted territory there.
