2022-10-31 05:07:35 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if most people like them. I do think there may be some type of generational gap between people who primarily use TikTok and people who primarily use YouTube. Shorts are just YouTube's way to attract those people. It is definitely a different feel.

2022-10-30 18:26:28 +0000 UTCI personally don't like YT Shorts, but you used the phrase "acceptable utilization of a different medium," and I *do* think what you've described absolutely qualifies there. So I think they will work well, even though I may not personally watch them. Moreover, I get the sense that most people like Shorts, and that I'm in the minority - I think it's worth giving a shot and then re-evaluating at the end of November!
