From afternoon to night… we just can’t get enough of the water!

We’ll be staying overnight at Nu Melati Hotel — a nice budget-friendly option at around RM90 (about Rp350,000) (21.88 USD). It comes with a queen bed, table, chair, fridge, amenities, towels, private bathroom, Wi-Fi, prayer mat, drinking water with refills, and more.

I can still smell a bit of fresh renovation, like paint and all — which is actually nice! Makes the place feel clean and fresh.

We took a short break here for about an hour.

After that, around 6 PM, we walked to the beach from our hotel — it’s only about 100 meters away. The beach is called Pantai Cenang, pretty clean with soft white sand.

The sand here feels like it’s divided into three types — soft, kinda soft, and rough 😅😅.

I spent more time sunbathing than swimming — so nice just lying on the sand and enjoying the view.

The view is amazing — with lots of little islands all around.

Of course, I played with the sand too — just to keep things fun!

By this time we were already hungry, so around 7:15 we headed back to the hotel to freshen up and look for dinner.

Around 8 PM we went to a seafood spot called Halim GP. No worries — just like in Indonesia, halal food is everywhere here! Ordering is easy: just pick what you want and choose how you’d like it cooked — fried, in curry, with batter, and so on.

You can help yourself to the veggies and sambal.

The place is super spacious with plenty of tables and chairs — perfect for coming with family or a big group of friends!

One of the best things about Malaysia — smoking is banned in ALL public places! I love it!!! For non-smokers like me, Malaysia is the best!

And here’s the food! We were so hungry that my friend ordered a lot. I only wanted rice and chicken, but they insisted I try a few other dishes. One must-try was the flounder — tasted like regular sea fish, but the seasoning was a bit different from Indonesia. Yummy!!

What’s unique about the seafood here is that they even use curry spices! But since I’m not really a ‘soupy person,’ it wasn’t exactly my thing haha. I totally forgot how much we spent here — probably around RM100–RM150 (Rp400,000–Rp600,000) (25 – 37.50 USD) since we ordered so much.

After getting full, we went back to the hotel to freshen up before heading out for a night stroll. Around 9:30 PM we walked along the sidewalks, checking out lots of souvenir stalls. The prices were pretty standard — beach pants or shirts around Rp60,000 (4 USD) and dresses about Rp180,000 (11.25 USD).

We walked quite a distance until we finally spotted a foot reflexology place. The price was RM39 for 30 minutes (about Rp150,000) (9.38 USD).

The place was pretty cozy. Before the massage, they soaked our feet in warm water for about 10 minutes. It was warm, but honestly felt more like hot to me haha.

I actually love getting massages, but I’m super ticklish — especially on my feet! I couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. Just look at my face here hahaha 🤣🤣🤣

My friend, on the other hand, was totally enjoying it — well, you know, they’re already a bit ‘senior’ 😅.

The place was quite comfy — you can see for yourself!

Right at 11 PM, the massage was over. We headed back to the hotel to rest and sleep — since tomorrow we’ve got breakfast and then a flight back to Kuala Lumpur.

What’s next?

Stay tuned...

From afternoon to night… we just can’t get enough of the water!
