With just about three days left abroad, I decided to stay in Kuala Lumpur — the city where I’d eventually catch my flight back to Indonesia. I’ve been here a few times before, but there’s still so much to explore. However, after nearly a month of traveling, I was already feeling quite worn out. So for these final days, I chose to take it slow and simply enjoy my time in this last stop before heading home.
Accommodation in Kuala Lumpur
This time, I stayed at an apartment called Pavilion Ceylon Hill Suites. The rate was USD 39 per night for two people. There’s also a refundable cash deposit of USD 74 which will be returned after check-out.
The place was fully equipped and had everything I needed! A kitchen, washing machine + dryer, bathtub, fridge, cooking utensils, living room, two TVs, and central AC — super worth it!

Aside from the in-room facilities, which I personally found quite luxurious, the building also offers great public amenities — including two swimming pools and a gym. One pool is located on the 12th floor, while the other is a stunning rooftop pool on the 52nd floor. POV di Pavilion Ceylon Hills

During my stay at this apartment, I mostly cooked my own meals. I’d walk to the nearby supermarket to buy groceries.
The downside of staying at this apartment, in my opinion, is that it’s quite far from public transportation like the LRT station. It’s pretty easy to get a GrabCar, but since I’m team budget traveler, I’d much rather take the LRT to save money haha!
Like I mentioned earlier, I didn’t want to do too much while in Kuala Lumpur — I was already feeling pretty exhausted. So I just took it easy, relaxed at the apartment, and went for short walks to nearby places. On my last night, I went for a stroll to see the Twin Towers.
And this marked the final destination of my month-long journey abroad — 28 days in total! It's finally time to return to Indonesia; I’ll be flying back on April 24th, 2025. I honestly miss everything affordable and delicious back home! 😆🍜
Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read this amateur blog of mine. I hope it can be a helpful reference if you're planning your own trip abroad!
See you in the next blog! XOXO 😍😘🤩🥰
