ARRIVED IN HANOI, VIETNAM!

Barely arrived in Hanoi, and it's time to leave again??

After arriving at the bus terminal we went to our hotel. My friend and I were staying at different hotels but they were close to each other. Since we would be heading to another city at midnight we only dropped off our suitcases at the hotel where we’d be staying for the next few days and fortunately, they allowed it. We were staying in the Old Quarter area. After leaving our luggage we headed to a famous place to eat which was Pho 10 Ly Quoc Su. It tasted absolutely deliciouS in my opinion even I, someone who usually doesn’t like soupy dishes, finished everything. Or maybe I was just tired and hungry haha. The prices were quite reasonable, ranging from around $2.50 to $6.50.

We didn’t spend much time eating here just about 15 to 20 minutes. As soon as we finished we left right away because there was a long line of people waiting. Even we had to be on the waiting list. After that we looked for a café to hang out. We walked for a bit and found a unique one, and it was The Note Coffee. It was a café with a unique concept completely filled with notes. After ordering on the ground floor, you could go upstairs and choose a seat. Every table had paper notes and pens provided. You were free to write anything and stick it anywhere! I’m not sure how the coffee tastes because I didn’t order anything. I’m not really a coffee person haha.

Kami keluar cafe sekitar pukul 7 malam lalu jalan-jalan sebentar area sini. Kembali ke hotel sekitar pukul 8, aku numpang dulu buang air besar di toilet lobby. Kondisi belum mandi juga dari kemarin.

Around 9 PM, we took our suitcases and said goodbye to the receptionist, thanking them for letting us store our luggage for a while. We then headed to the bus pool to go to our next destination Sapa. We booked the tickets through 12Go and the price was around $32. Here the lower cabin can fit two people, so it’s more affordable even though the size is the same. Our bus departed at 11:30 PM.

After checking in, we were told to wait. Since the place was full we sat at a juice stall right next to it and of course, we ordered something because the prices were cheap. Drinks started from around $0.65 to $1.30.

Finally, our bus arrived! We had to wait to be called by name and told which cabin number we’d be in, so a bit of patience was needed.

The bus was just as comfortable as the previous one. This time, the journey only took around 6 hours. As soon as I got on and the bus departed, I immediately gave myself a quick "shower" using micellar water—my body felt so gross! I hadn’t showered since Laos, so it had been almost two days without one! Here's what the inside of the bus looked like NIGHT BUS.

After freshening up, I went straight to sleep! I was that exhausted! I don’t even know what happened after that; I just woke up and we had already arrived at the Sapa bus pool!

From the bus pool, we had to walk to the hotel, and along the way, we were greeted by stunning views!!

Well, when do we actually get to rest?? When do we finally get to the hotel? Alright, next chapter...
