What’s it like in Thailand after the earthquake and during Ramadan?
Finally, after the earthquake, I managed to check in! I was so ready for a shower, to freshen up, and get some rest.
In Bangkok, I stayed at Justice Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. The price was around $36 per night. It had everything I needed—just had to bring myself! You can see it for yourself!

Finally, I decided to take a shower because I felt so grimy after sweating and being out in the heat all day.

Finally, my body feels refreshed!

I was still tired and unsure of what to eat for iftar, so I decided to just relax in my room for now, cooling off while watching the hectic city of Bangkok after the earthquake. SANTAI DI KAMAR (chilling in the room)
Since I’ve been to Bangkok before, I’m not planning to go anywhere this time—just picking up a few items for others and looking for some good food. So while I’m in Bangkok, I’ll just be sharing short updates.
For iftar today, I had a rice box meal that was given to me earlier on the bus.

At night, I wanted to eat again, so I bought some street food—like grilled chicken, sticky rice, and a few portions of som tam. I also got it in advance for suhoor.

Going back and forth to get food by GrabBike was super hectic—the traffic was really bad after the earthquake!!

Anyway, by the time I got back with food for iftar, it was already super late around 9 PM because I was also shopping for elephant pants! You know what I mean haha.
After that, I went straight to sleep, since I had to wake up again for suhoor day 29 of fasting!!!
For suhoor on the 29th day of fasting, I ate the food I had bought the night before.

Today, I planned to buy some items for people who placed orders with me and also do some laundry. But yeah... it was pretty hard to find the items this time, so I spent hours looking for shops that sold what I needed—mainly deodorant spray and sleep balm.

After all that running around, suddenly it was almost time for Maghrib. So, I ended up breaking my fast here. All You Can Eat Wongsawang. It was incredibly delicious! The price was around $10-$13, I can’t quite remember. But it was so good, especially the chili sauce! It definitely tasted great and would definitely appeal to Indonesian tastes!

After leaving there, I went to 7-Eleven to buy my last suhoor meal for tomorrow. This was the final suhoor meal of the year. It was a bit emotional, honestly, to have completed a full suhoor during this Ramadan.

Today, my plan was to visit the nearest mosque and temple from where I was staying. So, let’s get ready… At this point, I checked out but left my suitcase at the hotel for a bit.

I took a Grab car from the hotel to visit these places, enjoying the sights of Bangkok along the way.

Finally arrived at Masjid Bang O.

I happened to arrive during Dhuhr, so I prayed at the mosque. The area was filled with Muslims, and while I was taking photos around the mosque, many locals greeted me with a smile, shook my hand, and even offered to lend me a cap because they noticed my hair was a bit long. The people here are so friendly!!!

After leaving here, I planned to visit the last place, which is Wat Sui Thong temple. I just took a quick look around here and didn’t stay long. After that, I went back to the hotel to pick up my suitcase.

Around 4:42 PM, I got ready to head to the station for my departure to the next country, where I’ll meet my friend again!
