My flight was on March 26, 2025, around 11:00 AM. I was already prepared the night before and took a CitiTrans shuttle from Bandung straight to Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

When it comes to airport outfits, I always go for a sporty look—comfortable and easy to move in, especially since there’s usually a lot of walking (or even running) involved at the airport.

On the night of April 25, 2025, at 11 PM, I arrived at the CitiTrans pool.

The journey to the airport took around 2 to 3 hours, and I finally arrived at 3 AM. I headed to a convenience store to have my pre-dawn meal (sahur). As for the meal, I went all out and had a lot to eat—knowing that this day would be physically exhausting.

I also brought dates—one of my favorite fruits—because I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find them in Cambodia.

Around 4:15 AM, I finished my sahur and headed to the restroom. Yep—the dawn attack hit me! 💩

After doing my business, I got ready for the Fajr prayer. Then I waited on the airport seats for my friends to arrive. Around 7 AM, I started feeling sleepy and ended up napping on the chair until about 8:30.

Around 9:00 AM, my friends finally arrived, and we went ahead with the check-in process.

After check-in, dropping off our luggage, and going through immigration. We made our way to the gate. Honestly, I was a bit nervous at immigration, worried we might not get through. There had been so many rumors about human organ trafficking, work scams in Cambodia, and other issues around the time of our departure. But thankfully, we got through. I believe passing through immigration depends on a lot of factors, from body language, appearance, to the passport contents, and more. I noticed a group of young people being held up at immigration. I overheard part of their conversation with the officer, and they were planning to work in Cambodia with very modest appearances. I had a bad feeling and suspected they might be headed there for some kind of forced labor. They ended up being detained at immigration while we proceeded to the gate.

What we thought would be a "Nobody going to Cambodia" turned out to be full! Most of the passengers I saw seemed to be Chinese.

The flight from Jakarta to Phnom Penh took about 3 hours. Lets go!!
