2025-11-09 20:39:50 +0000 UTCI love the use of ASL in post-apocalyptic scenarios. I think this actress has had a pretty clear accent through both movies. The cochlear would explain it and it helps the audience understand subtleties. If you haven't seen it, I recommend The Long Walk. It has nothing to do with ASL but I know you've enjoyed other Stephen King novel based movies.

2025-11-08 21:56:29 +0000 UTCI describe this movie and the original as a "jack-in-the-box" because those damn toys scared me as a child and still do because you never know when it will pop up and startle you....just like this movie does at times....but no where near as much as the original film startled me. I did find it nerve rattling when there is a group of people staring at you, and not saying a word. But I didn't find this movie to be as scary as the original most likely because it has much more dialogue. I hope that when Part III, which is in development, comes out it is somehow scarier.

2025-11-08 15:55:03 +0000 UTCI didn't watch these movies for the longest time because I couldn't imagine a movie with no sound being very entertaining. My kids finally talked me into it and I'm so glad they did. These are great movies!
