2025-11-05 00:44:54 +0000 UTCI don't feel like this digs into horror, I feel like it has some mysticism, just as S1 did, but still grounded in reality. I'd not be too worried Frank! I love Navarro, she's a fantastic character and her story and her bridge between her role as an officer and part of the native population is very interesting to me as someone from the UK with no experience of this type of population dynamic. Enjoy the ride!

2025-11-02 21:41:59 +0000 UTCI think maybe Liz freaked out when she saw the 'tattoo' on her daughters face because... well a couple reasons. One, because of the recent incident with the girlfriend and the video (that moment of shock when she realizes her daughter is growing up -- and maybe tattoos like that are part of a rite of passage?). Second, the murder investigation had images of tattoos and line drawings on the victims skin -- and when Liz was looking at photos of murdered Annie K, one of the photos showed her with 3 black lines smeared across her face. I don't remember the significance of those lines, but my eye really snagged on the photo of Annie's face with those three black lines...as Liz was studying all the photos...laying them around herself on the floor in a spiral pattern. I could be wrong -- I don't have any insight into this season, but that's what popped in my head at that moment.
