Ted Lasso 3x7 | Full Length Reaction

Comments

Been looking forward to your reaction to this one. I thought you would strongly connect to it. Have to mention Trent & his excited meta rant. I just found it really funny. Ok writers, we get it 😅 Interesting that you say Jack paying for Keeley & Rebecca’s dinner was a green flag b/c I took it as the opposite. It reinforces Rebecca’s love bombing caution. And after Jack mentioned how jealous she can be, I actually saw it as staking her claim/marking her territory. Maybe she did feel threatened by Rebecca, so she had to show she’s richer. Then she similarly showed off in front of all Keeley’s employees with the daisies. Just interesting how different relationship scenes are interpreted. I forget what video it was, but quite early in your Ted Lasso reactions you mentioned the “shut up & dribble” thing, and at the time I could just laugh. Maybe you’re a little psychic too lol Watching our beloved Sam so defeated seek comfort in the arms of his father like a vulnerable little boy always brings tears to my eyes. Within 5 mins of being on screen Ola quickly became one of my favorite characters. It’s so gratifying to see the great father that raised such a lovely Sam. “Don’t fight back, fight forward” is one of the most powerful lines in the whole show imo. Thank you for sharing your dream 😊

I don’t remember the exact episode you said it but I’m been waiting to get to this episode once you mentioned the “shut up and dribble” controversy a lot of black athletes face when they speak about social justice issues using their platform! You were planting seeds for your future self 😂

I bet you'd love the anime Haikyuu since you love Ted Lasso so much. Just another feel-good sports show full of the best boys.

Noct

Thank you. It was a good one

Honestly, I'm so happy with where the story is going with Nate Happy to hear the rant my brother. It's frustrating. Especially the part about common human decency being the bare minimum they should offer after years and years and Decades of exportation of these other countries around the world. Shout out to your mom. No need to apologize for the rent to my friend. It's Justified. But yes you're 100% right, having to result to anger and frustration at every turn would literally make your brain explode. Thanks Shane. I believe he is too

Franklin

🤣😂

Franklin

No comments. I plead the fifth😂😂😂

Franklin

haha Sorry Laura. Unfortunately, that was a typo. I meant to say "I definitely felt the warmth" that you mentioned seeing. Not a creepy thing at all Laura, these reactions and this channel are just a means for human connection. That's why we're here. every time I post I always look forward to hearing what you all have to say. that human interaction and connection is what I live for

Franklin

oh wow what a wonderful dream!!

Nate did something brave and good for himself and it came from a healthy place! That's awesome to see. I hope it continues, because I still don't remember where this goes, lol. Very depressing parallels in real life with the refugee story line. The way the English media and politicians sometimes talk about and treat them is disgusting. The country has a debt to so many peoples for centuries of exploitation and yet so often basic human decency seems too much for our leaders to offer. My mum had to deal with a ton of xenophobia as a kid, even from teachers and she only came an hours ferry ride over from Ireland. I can't imagine how much worse it can be when you're of a different complexion or even having to learn the language and deal with everything. Sorry for the rant, few things piss me off like racism and xenophobia. I have my mum and basic humanity to thank for that. Although I've noticed the people who suffer it most often have passed anger and have a more reserved pissed off-ness or more complex/enlightened reaction to it, like Sam's dad. If I'd have had to deal with it as often as others and I got so angry every time I imagine it would effect me mentally or personally, so I'm happy people find healthier reactions even in cases like this where anger is certainly justified. Lastly, I'm damn near positive your father would be proud of you. Your dad sounds like he was an amazing human and I loved hearing about him. You seem like an incredible person too, so I'm sure those who love you both continue to see some of the best parts of him in you.

Shane

"I'm not Ted Lasso" same hahhaaha

"If you dont have that appendage, you might not know how much that hurts" .....Frank, did you have basketball practice like this too? lol

I don’t understand when you say “I definitely failed to warm.“ Your warmth and spirit came through so perfectly, naturally that is why it was my favorite part of the entire show. I don’t see you separately from the shows we watch. I could watch any channel, if I wanted to watch a movie. I’d became a Patreon to your channel because of your spirit. Please don’t take this as a creepy thing. I am elderly. I am a shut in my 19-year-old cat will soon leave me. The world has been so devoid of true human emotion, unashamed, and unabashed to be seen that I come to watch you not really the movies. They’re just an extra treat.

You have great eyes Laura. All I saw was my pops and I while watching that scene and you noticed. Thank you. I definitely failed to warm. God bless you

Franklin

That is so cool. Thanks for the reminder

Franklin

Dear Franklin, the warrants of the last moments of this episode with Sam and his father Ola from the locker room to the very ending with Sam and his father, dancing in the kitchen, as I watched your face light up at an ear tug, and the warmth that came through your entire being as the last moments in the kitchen, father and son, bringing your spirit home to a place so irreplaceable was the most glorious part of this reaction. Many blessings to you your family to those who love and who love you and return. I cannot fix the first word or edit it. It was supposed to say “the warmth I saw”

When the team gives Jamie the bird because he's worried about being a prick, it's a reference to "the signal" episode from season 2 when the coaches flip him the bird to let him know to be a prick on the pitch. season 3 is absolutely littered with little easter eggs like that from seasons 1 and 2 (hopefully that's not too spoilery)
