Ted Lasso Season 2 | Ep 11 & 12 | Full Uncut Reaction
Added 2024-07-30 02:09:23 +0000 UTCI am so sorry for what happened with episode 11. My mic malfunctioned and my whole reaction has no audio. The only way I was able to make this work was to just do a review of the episode. But don't worry, episode 12 is intact and a regular reaction! Thanks for your understanding. Peace!

From the moment it dropped that Nate was the anonymous source, anytime he was on screen, it was an immediate eye roll & smile dropped just like you 😂 such a far fall from him being such a charming character from episode 1 😭😭 I felt that betrayal in my soul !!

2024-09-01 17:10:26 +0000 UTCIt's all good. I'm glad you all took the absence of that audio with so much grace I love that this show makes so many references. Good catch on the Robin Williams line. Absolutely love to that movie. I think about it often I'm glad you share that understanding for Nate's motivation. It doesn't justify it because that s*** was f***** up Yes Jamie's growth yes yes yes That post Ted Lasso heartbreak about to hit me like a truck😭😢

2024-08-08 18:02:22 +0000 UTCShoot, sorry about your audio & corrupted file 😭 A tidbit I love about Ted & Sharon’s good-bye is after Sharon read’s Ted’s note, she almost quotes Robin Williams from Good Will Hunting in saying, “Son of a bitch stole my move,” from when Robin reads Will’s good-by letter. Love that reference. The reveal of Nate leaking Ted’s panic attack to the media was one of the most shocking scenes when I first watched the shoe. We all assume that a lot of Nate’s trauma stems from a complicated relationship with his own father. So Nate desperately latched onto Ted as a father figure & to that attention. It’s frustrating because I can understand his motivations, but of course that doesn’t make any of his action right. Jamie’s always interesting. A lot of people operate under the “Live without regrets” philosophy, to the point that they’ll do/say things barely thinking about the consequences. I did really respect his apology tho. Growth! Yay, finished season 2! Bittersweet that you’ll be on to the next season, but it’s also the last 😭 But hey, we all go through the post-Ted Lasso heartbreak eventually.

2024-08-05 04:51:47 +0000 UTChahaaaa loved it so much I had to watch it twice. It's so much funnier because before that he had shown so much grace and elegance, so we weren't expecting any of that. I'm not surprised your face was hurting for two days🤣🤣

2024-08-02 17:26:33 +0000 UTCSo so happy we've made it this far. I think I'm starting to have a bias toward TV shows over movies. We get so much time with the characters we love and a legitly feels like we're going with them. I love that feeling so much Can't wait to hop on season 3 next week. I am definitely pleased to have that information. They seem like the best of friends. Even through their acting

2024-08-02 17:25:09 +0000 UTCSo true. His trauma has definitely given him tunnel vision

2024-08-02 17:22:54 +0000 UTCI hear that. I would have absolutely lost my s*** if the same thing happens to the finale

2024-08-02 17:21:54 +0000 UTCNate just makes me shake my head. Trauma mixed with misunderstanding, mixed with expectations. Freaking cocktail for disaster. I hope he finds his way back Wow. This comment definitely hits me. "What can I learn here" .... That is so fucking good. And that also is great for disarming your arguing partner who is equally irritated. It helps show that you're trying to make things right. Yeah I'm like you. I'm definitely putting that in my tool kit

2024-08-02 17:21:09 +0000 UTCI appreciate you being an avatar for Ted in comforting my loss of the audio episode haha. Shit does happen I'm glad you're disappointment was distracted lol and the recap was still good. Yeah I had to combine the finale with the review, I didn't want to leave you guys high and dry with just my review😊💗

2024-08-02 17:17:39 +0000 UTCOMG! I’ve been waiting for this moment! 😂😂😂😂😂 That’s why I was glad this episode had sound. Could not wait to see your reaction. Priceless. One of my favorite scenes in any tv show ever. Edit: Also, Sam Richardson should have gotten a special Emmy for that scene. I laughed so hard the first time my face hurt for two days. 😆

2024-07-31 02:46:16 +0000 UTCSeason finale! “WE. ARE. GOING. UP. WE ARE GOING UP!!! We are successfully through the middle of the story arc; we have made it out of the dark woods. Season 3 will see how this fairytale ends! I have a feeling 😉 that it will have the perfectly unsatisfying ending…of leaving us not wanting to leave… Frank, I think you will be pleased to know that the actresses who played Rebecca and Keeley became besties in real life!

2024-07-31 02:43:57 +0000 UTCNate also either didn’t care or didn’t realize (which he must have) that Ted was having a rough time. Divorce. Panic attacks. Missing his boy. The tiny little “slights” that Nate perceived, were misunderstandings. Like the photo he gave Ted for Christmas .. Nate is mad it isn’t up in his office. But, back in the funeral episode, when Ted is getting dressed, you can see it there in the table in his bedroom. It meant that much to him. But I think Nate is so wrapped up in his own daddy issues that he just always assumes the worst.

2024-07-31 02:42:28 +0000 UTCTo be fair .. if one of your reactions was going to malfunction, I’d rather it be episode 11 than 12. Sh*t happens. If everything went perfectly, life would be boring. 😊

2024-07-31 02:33:38 +0000 UTCYep, Nate was brought down by his daddy issues. It would be quicker to name the main characters that AREN’T dealing with them! Ted was going to be the perfect father figure but Nate couldn’t handle not being an only child. He was particularly distressed by Ted not displaying, in his office, the picture of the two of them celebrating on the sidelines. If he had only known that it was (and would continue to be) displayed in a much more sacred spot, in Ted’s apartment next to a picture of Ted’s son. Oh, Nate. And Ted’s response to Nate’s anger of “What can I learn here?” instead of “WTF?” was so classic Ted. I can only hope I remember that response (not wtf, that’s easy) when I’m neck deep in a heated emotional discussion!!!

2024-07-31 02:24:16 +0000 UTCFrank, on the Free (of) Speech episode, consider WWTD*? He would quip something hilarious for a forty year old white man from middle America, highlighting the appropriate life lesson (that sh*t happens) and then forgive you, of course! Good recovery, my man! And your heartfelt distress distracted me from my disappointment of not sharing the journey with you through this episode. I thoroughly enjoyed the recap! Also, the tandem release of the season finale (with sound!🥳) was an unexpected treat! ❤️ *What Would Ted Do

2024-07-30 22:52:52 +0000 UTCJournalists are a special breed. The story comes first.

2024-07-30 22:27:15 +0000 UTCAlso, with Trent, I don't really get the "It's my job so I had to print this." It's personal mental health and should be able to be out of bounds and not salacious "news." That will just hurt Ted even more obviously. The story should have been "assistant coach tries to take down Ted Lasso" if anything. I want to like Trent but he makes it hard lol. also JOHN OBIWAN GANDALF lollllll

2024-07-30 21:53:24 +0000 UTCI do think that Nate’s speech was all feeling he put on to Ted that he had for his father. He saw Ted as a father figure and I think his perceived slights that Ted did just made Nate feel like another father figure was ignoring him. It’s easy to be angry with him, but you also have to remember that hurt people hurt people. I have a lot of empathy with Nate and what he went through but his anger at Ted was completely out of line.
