OH, to the point of a few episodes ago, ANY card that specifically says "you MAY pay life points to..." allows you to NOT pay those points whenever you choose. For real, FR... it really helps to play your decks on Masterduel, because even the offline mode (trash, but not bad for practice) or even the free duel mode where people are typically just trying out decks (they have a decades mode, where you can play decks based on the 3 major time periods: OG/after gx/ after 5ds)

No spoilers, but Noah is actually an important name in that movie as well, AND it features a little AI boy tryna get a body lol
