2025-07-08 20:31:22 +0000 UTCI think Squid Game is so uniquely Korean that I can't think of a way they can make an American spin off of this without jacking it up. The players play games reminiscent of their childhoods growing up in Korea, so what is an american recruiter doing with Dakji pieces? The concept of Squid Game is great, but this spinoff just feels like something created from greedy folks who don't know how to stop before they ruin something good.

2025-07-08 20:29:09 +0000 UTCI don't think anyone, including myself, is talking about a happy ending. Just wanted at least some storylines/questions answered or concluded. Instead, they made a choice to milk the series and kind of ruin many narratives.

2025-07-04 06:42:04 +0000 UTCThis ending was realistic. I dont get what people expected in 6 episodes lol. Unless they rushed it, there was no way you were going to get your rainbow happy ending. The detective side story however was definitely the weak point of the show. I was happy with how Gi Hun died, he proved his point and yes, it required dying to make sense.
