I hate the notion nowadays that one cannot be offended by a joke, mockery, belittlement etc. of something one holds dear and sacred, thats just Human nature/psychology TF lol. If U talk shit about something I love dearly and then call it a Joke, that doesnβt mean I still wonβt feel some type of way. Its a weird agenda nowadays to make ppl not to stand for things they hold sacred anymore imo and be passive with everything. Smh In my humble opinion I do not fault patβs reaction to this.

2025-06-19 05:40:46 +0000 UTCA-Yo, this is why the South Park writers are goated. I'll admit, SP is 50% episodes like these, awkwardness and all. They reference shit you don't know, make literal POO-POO jokes, and they just think this shit is okay...!? Tha fuq!? I'll say this, as an AVID SP fan, I think the reason they get away with more than RnM is because they are VERY tongue in cheek about it 90% of the time. Bad SP episodes usually play on the same joke(s) for TOO LONG and it's like "OK, OK WE GET IT!!!". Other times, it's like, "Omg... are they really gonna go there? No. Yeah.... they're going there." And it's just a big drag. SP doesn't normally utilize A and B plots as often as most shows, so sometimes it's like one long 20 minute skit. RnM just does it so RAW and in your face that it can be offensive to viewers, like, "Didn't the writers ever ONCE consider their audience and how they would feel being shown THIS???!" Ultimately, I think Pat's buggin', but it was a personal thing. The episode was summ tin' lite, nothing too crazy. I just wish I knew what movie they were spoofin'
