I just learned how Syncro Summons work lol crazy to think that it’s a simple concept compared to what we have now

Ayo, CHAT... Does anyone else Miss when Yu-gi-oh was simpler? When it took more turns and you REALLY felt like it took the heart of the cards (AKA Luck of the Draw) to turn it around sometimes??? The game now is great... don't get me wrong. But it's become such a Mathematicians game... I miss when it was simple. Now, everything leads to a CHAIN reaction. You play, I negates, you activate 30 different card effects and end up with the "Perfecr Board" anyway. Sure, I get too frustrated to learn these new days (thank you, alcohol 🍸) but that's basically how it plays. THAT'S WHY you gotta build your deck with a "No Nonsense" approach. If it doesn't help EVERHTHING else in the deck, then it's useless. That's the only way to be effective with your strategy and eliminate "Bricks" (Aka bad hands that get burned after ONE negate. A "negate" is any card that stops your opponent's cards from working. Meaning, if you activate a card's effects, Monster, Magic, or Trap, your opponent can stop it somehow, someway.) I play decks that don't do well against multiple Negates (Nih-Gates), so games like Masterduel, where everyone is blessed with a Negate or two every hand, are almost impossible to play and be good at. But that's not to say the GAME is bad... Just my decks are "Bad" for Diamond Rank or Higher (I peaked at Diamond BEFORE they added the new ranks). In regular circles, My decks go HAM!!! So, I was just wondering if the fans actually LIKE the new format, OR if anyone out there feels like me and wishes they went back to a more simplified way of play. I love the synergy... but it gets to be TOO much at times. Half the time I'm watching my opponents waste 5:59 minutes on their first turn, only to struggle guessing WHICH plays will break through their "Perfect" Defenses. Some decks are just OP with the cards and supports, but it typically is only ONE or TWO cards that make everything work. So while I get better... I'm DYING... DYING! to see you guys have IRL duels and battles. You'll evolve so quickly once you make it to GX, it's CRAAAZY. Remember, every Yu-gi-oh series introduced/added new mechanics to the game itself. You'll start off with New summons, which can be pretty dope (XYZs over Synchros, but Synchro Summons were an important chapter in Yu-gi-oh lore, as it started the process of adding more, and it led to XYZs and Link Summons, which are BY FAR superior to anything else in the game.

I tried like 10 times to get them to switch to the sub version

Jerry got that acoustic logic. You been possessed for weeks. Extremely injured and disorientated. You are not going to be cognitive to immediately recognized where you are and what's happening to say you quit. You wouldn't even know or recognized you're in a match. Honestly this is why people just crap on Youtubers/streamers/etc intelligence. Little to no comprehension how anything in real life works from medical, mental conditions, or how objects or devices work in the real world. Everything is always based off what they see on tv and not how things work realistically.

Quincy Jones

THIS IS like the third time Wellz mentioned a lot more stuff is explained better in the sub as we the commentors been telling you guys. If the dub is going to continued cutting out most of the important content that explains things better, you would think the smart thing would be to switch to the Sub.

Best summoning so far! Slifer is my favorite card!

Shawn Davis

Minus Mega

You guys should react to the Minecraft Movie

About Bakura getting hurt by Slifer: Never mind whether it was a Shadow Game or not—this kind of thing has happened before. Remember when Kaiba bluffed that he could get blasted off the ledge by the shockwaves from the holograms? Or when Grandpa ended up in the hospital just from the shock of seeing Kaiba’s monsters for the first time? The same kind of thing could’ve easily happened to Bakura. I don’t think it needed that much explanation. The idea that the holograms can be overwhelming or even physically intense has been shown pretty consistently throughout the series.
