If in the context of her saying “I just don’t want my son to be hurt again” before she says “why can’t you understand my feelings?” I don’t know if I’d call that completely narcissistic, she’s a mom worried about her son and asks him why he can’t understand that she thinks he might get hurt again. But she is selfish for not actually talking to him and trying to understand him though or listning to him
