You always put yourself in the constant, because everyone else is a variable. Their intentions and actions against you may vary. That’s a hella weakness against big guy. It's also good to note that although Jin Yeon is an Olympic medalist in Judo, he chose to follow his mother's path of academic excellence, instead of his father's path in Judo. This gives insight into the depth of his analytical thought process when fighting. He is always looking for environmental variables that can give him an added advantage, yet, at the same time, won't work against him. We see this when he uses the plant. Its base is used to strike a blow, and the dirt is used to distract his opponent, enough to grab his glasses and use them as a weapon to disable his opponent's foundation. Dude is a genius with an Eeyore (Winnie the Pooh) personality. I don't even want to imagine the damage he could do with a thistle bush. LOL

That carries over into Real life, much like reading comprehension skills. Si-Eun acts like he acts based on what he says here, as well. He sees himself as the Constant. The fights may vary and same with the opponent, but the job remains the same.

It's a style of fighting developed by a Shaolin Nun, a Kung Fu lady of faith. It relies heavily on using your opponents aggression against them, as well as taking advantage of common humanly weaknesses. So things like the monkey flip, or judo flip, are Wing chun 101. So is eye raking, eye gouging, kicks to the nuts, grabbing people by their pressure points, etc. Gotta couple Wing Chun truthers on the Left side of the screen lol 😆

Everyone else in the weak heroverse be throwing punches and kicks like professional fighters while sieun fights like a street fighter because he’s not trained. From the moment he started clicking his pen in S1, i knew he was crazy af 😭 sieun fights to injure/kill & worries about the consequences later and i love that about him. He fights until one of them goes down and doesn’t give up until the last second & that’s why i love watching his fight scenes. This was one of my fave episodes from S2 cause that fight was crazy!!!
