i think the point of the stranded rebel group is to show how even people recognize a common enemy, there will still be infighting because of ego and fear. one of the group leader said that the other leader’s brother stranded them there to die and the brother didn’t want to accept it. then they fought over who was second in command to lead the remaining people, rather than pay attention to the actual threat which was survival and getting off-world. this rebel group is also young without real leadership now. it’s like what luthen said to mon. people fail, and that’s their curse. infighting is what distracts them from the mission, but is also a realistic look at how hard it can be to build and keep a rebellion, especially one spread so far with limited visibility into the actual leadership. i don’t think cassian can ever mention luthen unless he knows that they know who he is

2025-04-24 05:00:42 +0000 UTCI didn't really like the Clown Shoes on Cassian's scenes, no cap. I didn't like episode 7 of s1, and this was that x20. I just felt like there were very few comedic moments in S1, and to dedicate so much time to this one joke (the idiot rebels) is just kinda... Meh. It's not BAAD.. But for THIS show, it's a disgrace. Almost. At least our boy clutched up in the end, and we did get some real deal down to earth moments.
