2025-04-16 01:59:50 +0000 UTClol @ wellz smiling during this reaction. a lot of these comments are spittin’. ellie’s not dumb, she feels the weight of what joel did for her. and the fireflies + doctors etc were being shady about that whole process regarding ellie last season. i don’t blame abby and her people for wanting that get back, but in a way, that situation could’ve been avoided had her people not’ve been od weird.

They wouldn’t let Joel speak to her, they threatened to kill him if he didn’t leave so off rip he had to kill them and they weren’t just doctors there were soldiers too. The other thing it wasn’t a guarantee that it would work and even if it did it wouldn’t cure everyone because she’s only one person. They would’ve needed multiple people to try to cure everyone, with only Ellie at most it would’ve been enough to cure their people. Don’t forget she was just a child, they were willing to sacrifice a kid who hasn’t even lived to save themselves. I’m not saying what Joel did was right or wrong it’s just up to perspective

2025-04-15 12:55:56 +0000 UTCI’m glad I’m not the only one who sees this as a fact. Plus, they had no files or documents or assurances that a cure could even be made. No proof whatsoever to convince anyone that it’s possible. Just words and sometimes that’s not enough. And besides, the Fireflies didn’t even give Joel and Ellie the chance to discuss the situation. They tried to prevent Joel from seeing her when a simple conversation could’ve changed that whole situation. They brought that upon themselves when they tried to get rid of Joel and not wake up Ellie, tell her the truth, and let her and Joel have a conversation, in which Joel would’ve respected Ellie’s decision and allowed her to go through with the surgery.

In this world It’s so freaking far gone If they did happen to find a cure Ellie dying Yea maybe they would have been cool for a little bit But these Clickers The Fungus Evolves Especially in this episode Girl was a clicker ninja 😂 So if the fungus evolves The world could have gotten worse anyways and Ellie would have died for nothing
