Ones history stems from a indo-european backround and the other is closely related to the Sub-Saharan region.

I believe he never truly watched 5Ds (Hell, I was damn near finished with High-school by then) and neither did I, UNTIL I went back and binged it. Crow and Akiza are cool. Jack is the GOAT Antagonist, in shades if Kaiba, but somehow done better (he's like Magneto. Literally the same backstreet and motivations.) But Yusei.... Yusei was lacking, and the series suffers for it. It also felt like the most FILLER filled series of them all. Meaning, it felt like the Dark Signers Arc but 200 episodes long. GX is what made me realize Yugioh wasn't dead, nor was it ever going to die. What they do with GX is very childish at first, then super sci-fi outta NOWHERE, but then it finds it's stride, and it's the best Yugioh has ever been. Jaden never fails to excite. The fact that it takes the duelist to SCHOOL is actually amazing once you accept it. The duels are insane, as you start seeing the game truly expand. I rock with the OG. I rock with 5Ds. But GX... Well, Mainly JADEN, stole my heart with this show. It's peak, IMO, and I think GX and the Marik duels are the pinnacle of this anime. Buckle up boys. You are eating good To-Niiight, To-niight.
