2025-03-08 22:35:27 +0000 UTCI'm fairly neutral on the movie, except for all the scenes with Dr. Facilier, especially when it comes to his final fate. Even though it's all colourful and it's his song playing, there's a palpable dread that fills the air and the song kicks in immediately with no preamble. It was a real "oh shit" moment, I wish he was in more of the movie, or that Disney managed to make more of those moments with their recent movies. EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Princess and the Frog was supposed to get a live action sequel series, and only a few days ago Disney cancelled it. That's some garbage, the one time they were going to do something interesting and not another remake and they're like "NOPE!"
