When I saw the potential to Summon 30 monsters in 1 turn (no cap btw), I knew I was playing the game wrong lol 😆. Just get cooked a few times online and see how the game is played these days. You might be blown away at first, but it will show you that this game is no joke. It's actually pretty dope and EXTREMELY satisfying to win. It's the one card game that's all about expressing your personality through your deck. From the card esthetics down, the card art, all the way to the strategies, it all speaks to your personality, which is crazy and really impressive. You might not rock with the strongest decks, but there's always a deck out there for EVERYONE.

If you run a card like Photon Tiger, you NEED to run atleast 2 at a time. 3 would be pointless, unless you had 50+ cards in your deck. Math guys... MATH. Edit: (I'm still watching 👀) And THEN...! Wellz WOULD have the Blue eyes deck already lol 😆 (buy 2 more just to have 3 of EVERHTHING) but he used SYNERGY perfectly here. That deck is SYNERGY incarnate, because no matter what you play, it results in you putting down a Blue Eyes from the hand, the deck, or even the grave. This was my first deck on Masterduel before I found the Red-Eyes deck (honestly, it's stronger IMO) and then I settled on Galaxy-Eyes (1-turn kills go BRRRRR).

It’s fun when you enjoy the journey and play with cards Thru the years. Also fire content that will only get better with more understanding.

THIS is THE MOST important reason for buying structure decks IRL, AND why playing the game on MD or DL is also clutch... These cards are made to have SYNERGY, which means, they are meant to compliment each other in order to reach newer levels of strength. When you watch the anime, they always got "Lucky" enough to pull the next card they needed. To simulate that exact experience, the IRL card game gives each and every deck SET-UP cards, as well as MVP cards. MVP cards are your heavy hitters, your Blue Eyes/Dark Magician/Red Eyes. Your Set-Ups are the cards that make it easy to get your MVPs out onto the field AND in most cases, either power them up further OR protect them from being destroyed at all costs. Now, there are some super superior decks and cards out there that will work with ANY deck set up you want... Those cards are why playing people on MD or DL with more experience will kill the game for you. It will also make you much much better, because Yu-gi-oh is a GAME OF KNOWLEDGE.... and luck 😆. Here's the crazy part, tho... It's more MATH than anything! The reason the "Best" decks are the "Best" is because of ONE simple factor... RELIABILITY!!! What is Reliability in Yu-gi-oh, you might ask? Well, what is reliability? It's HOW MUCH can you rely on something to happen over and over again? Same with your cards or your deck... If you can GUARANTEE that 3 out 5 duels you'll pull exactly the cards that you need in order to reach to "The Top" of your deck (meaning summoning your MVP monsters or pulling off your Deck's winning strategy, like LP draining or Board Locking) then you have a RELIABE deck. You also have a pretty strong deck, too, because consistently reaching the Top of your deck is gonna lead to more wins, Period. How do you make a deck more reliable? Consider this: You can have 40-65 cards in a deck, but why do the (IRL) CHAMPIONS rock with 46 or less cards at all times? It's a numbers game. If I want to pull off my strats more consistently, then having less variance is important. By variance, I mean TOO MUCH going on in one deck. Cut the cards that don't work with the rest of the deck. Focus only on cards that make your Top strat even stronger (you'll find tons of cards that can do this for any strat) and either help summon monsters quicker, or protect your monsters from being destroyed once they are played. You can even find specific cards to bring YOUR MVPs back from death in an instant. The game is so complex and the possibilities feel nearly endless when you start mixing and matching decks and strategies together. So much so that we often forget to stick to ONE OP strategy at a time, and thus making the game more complicated than it needs to be. Trust me, you can have a 40 card deck capable of Summoning 3 Blue eyes white dragons on turn 1 almost 60% of the time, and is guaranteed to Summon at least 1 Blue Eyes every single turn. Did I mention this deck has about 10 different Blue Eyes dragon monsters in it, too??? And that's not even counting the supports... So, here's the simple math for an effective and strong Yugioh Deck: Less cards equals MORE reliable odds that you pull the right cards every Duel. SYNERGY means that you have cards that allow you instant access to your most important cards, so even if you don't draw (for example) a Blue Eyes, you probably drew a card that allows you to pull or summon a Blue Eyes straight from the deck (just 1 example). Basically, you have 40 divided by 3, plus whatever else you want. Meaning, You should have at least 8-10 cards that you have 3 copies of in your deck. You might not be able to do this IRL, because it's just not as realistic to come up on 3 of anything unless you're buying auction style. HOWEVER, again, that is why Structure decks are great buys, because the deck comes equipped with 2 and 3 copies of everything important to the deck. You'll still need/want to go buy something extra to add to your structure deck (they can be stale/boring at first) but for the most part, you want at least 2 copies of every card in your deck. Like, Yu-gi-oh is best played when you have 3 copies of your 10 most useful cards (strategy wise) and 10-15 other cards that consist of MVP monsters, Hand traps, and anything else you want to spice up the deck with. 3x10=30 + 10-15= a full deck of 40-45 cards. (I recommend buying 2 or 3 of the same structure deck at a time, so you have 2 or 3 copies of the RARE cards. They only give you 1 copy of the strongest cards) Having 60 cards in a deck means you'll almost NEVER see a card when you need it. Yeah, I'm excited for you guys to explore more. You're in Pandora's Box now, my boys 🤣

Only get the tcg english versions. 8000 is always the real life point start. Great duel as somone who has been playing since 2002 it is always great to see new players coming into the game. And learning. The spell cards with the cross symbol are equip spells. You can not use them during the battle phase when a monter is attacking. Always best to use them before you attack. You just equip them to the monster for the continues effect. Also photon tiger looses atk points because you did not have any other monsters on the field. You can use quick play spells cards from the hand during your turn and in the battle phase when a monster is attacking. They are spells with the lighting symbol on the card. To use a quick play spell card on your opponents turn you have to set it. And you can activate it anytime during your opponents turn.

And 3 copies of primite lodly lode. 3 primite dragon either beryl. And 1 copy of primite drillbeam. The cards are quite expensive but worth it. Competitive modern day YuGiOh in the TCG is nothing like in the show. There’s tons of YouTubers for YuGiOh that you can watch to learn how to play.
