2025-03-08 03:20:24 +0000 UTCI think you can say that Doppelganger play is why it was important to eventually add in "Banishing" cards. That, and with the easy access to the graveyard after they started adding in so many newer strategies as time went by, it was important to find a way to still completely REMOVE a card from the game. Hell, now there are even entire decks dedicated to banishing and unbanishing cards alone. It gets so crazy that they eventually created cards that had to be deemed "Unaffected by your opponents cards" . To counter all the effects and magic and trap cards in the game, they had to create monsters TOO STRONG to kill with an OP effect. I'm sure you're having fun with it lol

Every argument I seen for dub is either because the person is lazy or try to use the lame bs excuse of, how do you know they're good if you don't speak the language. Any intelligent human being can observe acting ability, cadance, and other things by voice inflection. And even then that's the only point they use. They never point out how often dubs censor and change things that go against authorial intent or in some cases introduce plot holes. Even in the original yugioh dub that pre spoil something at the end of Duelist Kingdom that isn't start to touch upon in the Battle City Ark and what they did with Yugi was atrocious. He was never afraid of Yami, they were just so hard focus on a strategy against Pegasus they weren't focus on Mai. Just contextual changes like that, that change characterization is annoying and make things inconsistent.
