i was thinking the same thing about the doctor. like his ass is so disgusting it’s crazy. 😭 even if there were no bodily exchanges, he’s still clearly taking advantage of the fact that she’s severed.

We don't know anything about the tech that actually initiates the sever upon going to the severed floor. But we do know they can control it at will based on when the innies escaped and they flipped that switch ..when Irv made a threat to kill Hellie...and now with this episode we see it applied to multiple doors all on the same floor. So once they perfect the severing and make sure it operates how they want, they'll likely have a way to initiate it at will on their person.

If the point is to no longer feel grief, that’s impossible. If the outie experiences loss or grief, there is nothing that can be done to change that. Time avoided through severance, actions committed by the innie, and etc. It’s pointless. Unless that’s the theme of the show; being that escaping from grief and all other negative emotions is impossible. In order to skip out on every negative emotion, you’d need to avoid all important aspects of life that generate positive and negative emotions, which renders life meaningless in the process. You can’t experience grief without having experienced love. You can’t feel anger, hate, sadness, jealousy, without ever being hurt in some capacity.

Because each room for sure needed fresh brains for each scenario One disgusting thing that came to mind is that the old doctor who was in love with her might have created a scenario where he freely took advantage of Gemma in any way he wanted in one of the rooms. Which might be why he asked “Did any of the rooms make you feel the way you didn’t with Mark? 😏 “ 🤢🤮
