I haven't watched alot of episodes in years but I still remember alot as if it was yesterday lol supreme kai and kibito fused in the Majin buu saga and they explained it in episode 1 of diama that they used Majin buus gas to infuse just like when vegito unfused when super buu ate them. Dragon ball super they are still fused then unfused during the goku black arc and explained that they asked the dragon to unfuse them and the potara ear rings only last an hour for mortals. There's alot of plot holes and retcons

The OG Dragonball had fights just as good as daima (not including animation obviously) and at first we didn’t even know people could get revived in the first season of OG Dragonball so there was plenty of tension and the villains….don’t get me started on Tien bro he was a villain at first homie. It’s open ended to have a comeback in super with SS4 potentially being mixed with MUI to make SS5’s design especially with the writer of Super is the same for DBAF but all in all it’s a matter of separate continuities and this was a call back mainly to just the Original Anime Run of DB/Z/GT. R.I.P Akira Toriyama—who actually passed on this very day 1 week before it was made public news on March 7th. Thanks for all that you gave in this world.

2025-03-01 01:24:26 +0000 UTC7/10 (yapping incoming). I 100% think this should’ve just been another movie. Intriguing start, and a fire last five episodes. But the middle felt very stretched out at times, like they were trying to fill episode space. Even the final fight could’ve been condensed. Did we need to end an episode on SS3, only for it to be overshadowed by 4-mini five minutes into the next, only to then end the next episode with another transformation sequence, then the next episode, and then to end it in a 5 minute sequence? Plus outside of the two Majins, the new characters aren’t super memorable like a Beerus/Whis/Goku Black or a lot of the characters introduced in Super. Degesu did nothing, Gomah sat on his ass til the finale and got a power up with zero work, the Tamagami are just robots with no real personality (unlike the new Androids). It was still enjoyable mostly but aside from animation, ain’t no way I can put this over ALL of Super.
